Trip to the Women's Library new Exhibition

We will be going to the Women's Library Tuesday 6th November 2007 to see the exhibiton Sinners, Scroungers, Saints: Lone mothers, past and present. It's an exhibiton that is very interesting and informative about the issues which have effected lone parents historically and the present day. We will be meeting at Stratford Station @ 12pm, come along, join us!!!!

She gave us a guided tour of the exhibiton.

We also managed to film and record the interview on a Sony HD camcorder.

The girls really enjoyed this bit of the workshops and trips. There's no stopping them!!

I must say our girls have the pontential to become the next June sarpong. I am being serious here, because you know, she too was a local girl that achieved fame and recognition as a professional presenter.

Museum Of Childhood Trip on 28th August 07

Trips to The Millers House in Three Mills

Today, we decided to take the children to the Millers House in Three Mills. The children had a wonderful time creating marbling with paints on
paper.













Look!, there is a budding artist in the group demonstrating to mum and others what great talent he has!!!!!!

Today, 7th August 2007 we decided to go back because the children and parents had such a fun time the previous week.

The children had another organised activity in the garden planting corn seeds and a guided tour of the Old Miller's House. Take a look at the fun they had!
